Our Mission
At Bridge Assistive Technology, our mission is to empower residents with disabilities in Washington State by providing essential assistive technology devices and digital literacy training. We strive to enhance independence and promote inclusivity in education, employment, and community for those living in Lewis, Mason, Grays Harbor Counties, and Nisqually Tribal Land.
Sensory Tool House, LLC
Sensory Tool House, LLC is a retail store and community resource in Lacey, Washington that offers a unique, in-store, try-before-you-buy model, allowing you to explore and find the perfect sensory and adaptive tools that meet your needs. The store was born from personal lived experience and run by a team of subject matter experts who have lived experience.
Bridge Program Overview
This grant funded program will serve over 1,000 participants between March 2025 and October 2026.
Each participant will be eligible for up to $1800.00 in assistive technology devices to support access to education, employment, and community, along with training and support on using that assistive technology.
Each participant will also be enrolled in digital literacy training that will be customized to their level. Sensory Tool House has been designing and facilitating accessible digital literacy training over the last few years, and we are excited to continue to bring that to the communities around us. We will continue to partner with the Thurston County Chamber to support this robust program.
All of this will be provided at no cost to the participants, including the one-one training on the assistive technology. Participants will also have a support phone number and email to receive ongoing tech support when needed during business hours.
