Bridge Program
Welcome to Bridge Assistive Technology!
Bridge will provide up to $1800 of assistive technology (AT) (low or high tech) to individuals with disabilities living on Nisqually Indian Tribal Land and in Lewis, Mason, and Grays Harbor Counties. Individuals must live in a low- to moderate- income household and have a documented disability.
Assistive technology will help to further access to education, employment, and community. AT funds can be used to install equipment in up to two locations. For instance, home and employment.
Along with the AT, we will facilitate installation, and participants will receive one-one training on how to use their new equipment.
Participants will also be required to take part in our customized digital literacy training to further support their access to education, employment, and community.
How to Qualify
Participants can self-refer or be referred by an agency, case manager, school, or other. To make a self-referral or to refer someone you know, they have to meet the qualifications requirements outlined below. If you are unsure if they do, you may refer them, and we will determine if they qualify upon the initial intake meeting.

Three Qualification Requirements
1. Participants for the program must reside on Nisqually Tribal Land or live in Lewis County, Mason County, or Grays Harbor County in Washington State.
2. Income at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
3. Documented disability.

We know that there are many in every part of Washington that would benefit from this program. Currently the program is for these areas only.
Income
Live in a low- or moderate- income household, at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Proof of income will be required upon first intake meeting. Information on documents required is below.

Disability
Have a documented disability AND be able to show documentation of the disability.

Residency
- A dated utility bill which includes your name and address
- Current WA State ID
- A tenancy agreement with your full name and all the information about how long you have lived in your current address
- Tax forms or tax returns
- Paycheck or pay stub
- Military papers
- School records
- Vehicle registration card or title
- Mortgage or lease papers
- Property tax statement
Household Income (for all earners of the household)
- Pay Stubs: Show your earnings from an employer, including gross pay and deductions.
- Tax Returns: Federal and state tax returns detail your annual income.
- W-2 Forms: Issued by employers annually, showing total earnings and taxes withheld.
- 1099 Forms: For freelance or contract work, dividends, or interest.
- Bank Statements: Show incoming payments or deposits.
- Social Security Benefits Statements: For those receiving social security income.
- Unemployment Benefits Statements: For individuals receiving unemployment compensation.
- Worker’s Compensation Letters: Document income received through worker’s compensation.
- Court-ordered Agreements: Alimony or child support documents.
